Formula E is coming to the capital of France this weekend for the fourth time. This round of the championship quickly became a “classic” rendezvous for Formula E and didn’t leave the calendar since its introduction for the 2015-2016 season.
This 8th round of the 2018-2019 season is full of promises and unknowns because since the start of the season, in 7 races, there have been 7 different winners whether in terms of drivers or teams : António Félix Da Costa (BMW i Andretti Motorsport), Jérôme D’Ambrosio (Mahindra Racing), Sam Bird (Envision Virgin Racing), Lucas Di Grassi (Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler), Edoardo Mortara (Venturi Formula E Team), Jean-Éric Vergne (DS TECHEETAH Formula E Team) & Mitch Evans (Panasonic Jaguar Racing).
After shakedowns the day before, the main action will take place on Saturday with a very busy schedule for all the drivers and teams. Two free practice sessions, qualifying sessions and the E-Prix are on the programme. The E-Prix will start at 4pm (local time), rain could make its appearance during the weekend, not what we want but wet conditions and racing always provide action-packed races !
Throughout the day, alongside Formula E but also Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy action on track, spectators will be able to meet the drivers during autograph sessions, do a lap of the Circuit des Invalides on their electric bikes, skateboards, unicycles, etc. and attend different shows.
Are we going to see a new winner again this season during the 2019 Paris E-Prix ? Let’s see what Saturday April 27th has in store !
