When most of us think of hill climb racing, we assume it to consist of race-prepared production cars that have been readied for a local event, to go as fast as they can up the hill. That is widely the case, unless one is talking about the European Hill Climb Racing Championship that takes place across Central and Eastern Europe. It is here where one would find immensely powerful open cockpit sports prototypes such as the one shown here, attaining some incredible speeds as they go up the steep, short mountain course. This particular video comes from the Falperra International Hill Climb event that took place in Portugal in 2016. Behind the wheel of the Formula car is racing driver Fausto Bormolini who showcases incredible judgement of the hill climb, reaching speeds upto 261kmph on the narrow mountain road. This here is one of the best hill climb onboard videos that you will ever come across.
