Thirteen of Maranello’s finest Italian steeds, the Ferrari Performance Collection is an ensemble of some of the finest Ferrari cars from the past that denote 50-years of the company’s heritage. Under single ownership this collection will go on sale between August 18 – 19 during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance motoring week as a part of the collection of cars brought to sale by RM Sotheby’s.
The collection features some of the rarest Ferraris in the world, including a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta which was the one of the last Ferrari road cars that was eligible for GT racing at events such as 24 Hours of Le Mans almost right off the dealership floors. Alongside the 250 GT SWB stand equally famed and respected cars, with the full list here.
As you would expect, the collection of Maranello’s finest is slightly above an average man’s affordability range. The cheapest car in the range is the 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS, while the most expensive is off course without down the Ferrari 250 GT SWB which is expected to sell between $8.5 – 10 million.
