The stunning Ferrari 268 SP which as you can see in these pictures is a stunning example of the times when racing was still raw and pure, when it was still about raw power and speed and the skills of the drivers that dared death every time they sat in these gorgeous monsters. This particular Ferrari 268 SP has been part of the collection of the world’s foremost Ferrari collector, Pierre Bardinon. Over the years this stunning Italian beauty has been restored to its original form and has been maintained with out-most care. If that is not all, this 1962 Ferrari 268 SP has also mode appearances at selected events such as the 2001 Cavallino Classic, where it won the coveted Platinum Award.
The Ferrari 268 SP was powered by a 2644cc DOHC 90 degree V8 engine that produced a staggering power output of 265bhp, the engine also came equipped with four Weber 40 IF2C carburetors, a five-speed manual transaxle, front and rear independent suspension with unequal-length A-arms and coil springs, along with disc brakes on all wheels.
