XTR Pepo has brought out yet another unique custom motorcycle. What you see here is a custom tracker based on a 1973 Bultaco Lobito 125. The Lobito, which means “Little Wolf” was a two-stroke, 11.2hp enduro motorcycle made by Spanish motorcycle manufacturer Bultaco between 1966 and 1976. Pepo’s latest build converts the modest 125 into a vibrant 2-stroke tracker that he has nicknamed “Astro” after the Bultaco Astro, a motorcycle made by the Spanish manufacturer specifically for dirt track racing in the USA. The Astro gained popularity amongst short-track racers and was used by many top class competitors including Gene Romero, Kenny Roberts, Jay Springsteen for their AMA Grand Nationals. Pepo’s Astro receives a multitude of custom parts as well as parts from other motorcycles, such as a swigarm from the Yamaha SR250 and Honda Hornet 600 front forks. The full list of parts and upgrades are as below. Photos: Cesar Godoy
