Luxury is akin to a lap. The cosier it gets the more you want to cuddle into it. Swiss designer studio B29 has designed a James Bond style garage for a member of a certain royal family on the subterranean level around Lake Geneva. While the name has not been revealed, we do know that the garage base has a couple of concealed lifts that are tailor made to fit in a car. The basement is used to house not just classic cars but also motorcycles. One if the alter includes a model of Austin Healey Sprite.
Not just this, the founder of the studio Thomas Bergman says that while the roof is styled like a stable block form a couple of centuries back the concrete and brick structure along with the V-beam have been made such that these are resistant to snow or winds. The lifts are operable with the aid of electric pistons and lie beneath a pitched roof that is 7.5 metres long. At one end of the structure is an enclosure that is used for parking too. What’s even better is that all internal conditions of the garage are adjustable and monitor-able via a mobile app on the owner’s Smartphone! And you thought money could not buy you everything?
