This year, Yamaha’s new MT range of motorcycles is nothing short of pure bad-assery. There’s more grunt, of course, but more over they have a new menacing street presence that Yamaha loves to call “The Dark Side Of Japan”. The MT-10 is the epitome of this new design language. This beast then is the flagship of that same “Dark” range of MT motorcycles for the coming year that Yamaha just launched at the EICMA motorshow held in Milan. This new motorcycle packs in a stonking 1,000 cc, four-cylinder engine from the company’s Yamaha R1 sports bike along with many other of the later’s go-faster bits.

To keep the MT-10 tamed, Yamaha has stuffed the motorcycle with tech. Inside, you would find everything from advanced riding modes for urban, wet and sport riding conditions thanks the the sophisticated ride-by-wire technology, while having other goodies such as ABS, traction control, slipper clutch and cruise control.
The new Yamaha MT-10 will be available around May 2016 with a choice of three color options Night Flue, Tech Black and Race Blu. Prices of the motorcycle are yet to be announced.
