It wasn’t that any of us were expecting anything less bonkers from Lamborghini for more than 2 years now, waiting in anticipation as the Italian would finally release their Super SUV. Finally revealed, the Lamborghini Urus is as bonkers as a supercar, and not a SUV. But that said, the Lamborghini Urus is bonkers almost all-around. From its design typical of a modern day Lamborghini (a lot higher though), its mental performance is what puts Lamborghini’s new SUV (the first after the Rambo Lambo LM002) in a league of its own. With a 4.0-litre, 650bhp / 850Nm V8 the Lamborghini Urus finds the brute force to accelerate from standstill to 62mph (100kmph) in 3.6 seconds. But perhaps the number most mind-boggling for one to get their heads wrapped around is the SUV’s insane 190mph (305kmph) top speed… A number none of us imagined that we’d ever say about a sport utility vehicle. The world of performance cars has truly come full circle, with preposterous performance at every shape and size. Photos via Lamborghini
