If you want your classic car cherry picked, Europe is the best place in the world to do so as most of the classic cars that we love to get up-close and personal with originally come from this vivid continent. European automakers have always been fierce at bringing the latest technology to their cars without making any distinction whether the tech comes from racing development or from white coats brainstorming in a lab. But the end results are machines that we have now grown accustomed for leaving a mark on decades of motoring culture. Retromobile 2017 is one of those places where a vast collection of such historical heavyweights come under one roof for the sole purpose of reminding every spectator the glorious eras of by-gone motoring.

Retromobile 2017 established a new high for the exhibition as this year’s event featured more than 550 exhibitors spread over pavilion 1,2 and 3; the most prestigious halls at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition centre in Paris. More than 500 cars were showcased with over 100 automobile clubs present in attendance.

It’s a magical place Retromobile, as Anotine Dellenbach depicts through his lens in the photos below. Seeing the lights bouncing off the speck-clean paint of the cars on the exhibition floor would instantly take you back to a time when these machines where brand new, rumbling their mighty engines on the starting grid while leaving their makers nail-biting in anxiety.
