Classic Cars at Salão Motorclássico 2017
If the Portuguese sun and beaches haven’t cast a spell already, you’d want to break into the a city, maybe, once. But the spell follows there too, making it’s way into everything, of course including motoring. Open-top Berlinettas, hipster scramblers, and surfboard fitted overlanders all accompany wherever you go. This year’s Salão Motorclássico classic car show from Lisbon too, complied to this vibe.
This year was the 10th year for Motorclássico, a place where you’d only see the seriously cool merchandise from back in the day. Both bikes and classic cars, lined up on the fair floor. Off course, it wasn’t not all beaches and wheels… There was a dab of thoroughbread sportscars too; classic Porsches, as in most cases, had taken over a complete area while a Ferrari Testarossa graced Maranello’s classic car stage.
Classic VW’s with surfboards, Toyota FJs, classic custom scramblers to Minis filled the exhibition area and there was no shortage of Citroen 2CVs in the outdoor parking. The Motorclássico classic car show was started to promote and streamline the entire world of classic cars, motorcycles, clubs, associations, rallies and automobilia collections, for which the event is an absolute sight for sore eyes.
