The Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Ducati recently revealed that Andrea Buzzoni would become the new Sales and Marketing Director. Buzzoni comes from a long history and experience of working with the Sales Management and Marketing of premium brands, and would play a key role in the company’s growth in today’s global scenario.
Andrea Buzzoni, a true-born Italian has been associated with sales and marketing for the past 17 years. He is also a former Ducati employee, who worked as Director in the Germany Branch between 2001 and 2004, moving on to become the General Manager at BMW Motorrad, Italy for the next 10 years.
His commitment towards racing has always been a genuine one since the start. He had managed projects of the Superstock and Superbike World Championship for BMW Motorrad Italia and later for the official BMW factory team at the World Superbike Championship.
Ducati Vice President Sales and Marketing, Cristiano Silei who resigned from the post to take on new and challenging frontiers had contributed in Ducati’s aggressive global expansion with some truly successful results. Under his supervision, Ducati sold over 45,100 motorcycles in 2014, and also gave birth to the new Ducati Scrambler, a machine that promises great sales for Ducati in the coming years.
