In the wake of the 2015 EICMA motor show, Italian manufacturer Bimota recently made an announcement of their new models for 2016. Among these new models for 2016, Bimota also announced a new supercharged ‘hyper-naked’ called the ‘Impeto’, which will produce close to 190 bhp.
Currently, there is very little to know about the bike, the company is yet to release any official photos. The motorcycle will be using the 164 bhp, 1198 cc L-Twin Testastretta engine that is from a Ducati Diavel that has been mated to a supercharger, helping boost power and torque by 15-20%.
The Impeto will be available with ABS and ride-by-wire throttle, meaning rider modes and traction control would be on offer. According to a report on Visordown, the motorcycle would also be offered with a carbon-fibre swingarm and frame tubes.
Along side the Impeto, Bimota will also be showcasing a new ‘Tesi 3D RaceCafé’, which will be a café racer version of the hub-centre steering operated Tesi 3D naked. Also, for those who are interested in buying kits that can be built by themselves, Bimota will also be offering a BB3 motorcycle, which is powered by a BMW S 1000 RR engine.
The 2015 EICMA motor show will be open for public in Milan Italy starting from November 19 till November 22, 2015.
