Porsche and their cars enjoy a special place in the hearts of petrolheads that no other car manufacturer will ever be able to replace, with a definitive portion of car lovers vouching for their support to the Porsche legacy it is tough to get people so stirred up in passion with a name of any other car maker. And, if you too are a Porsche lover as we are, then you probably know who Magnus Walker and what magic he does with old Porsches. So when we tell you that Magnus Walker has lend it hand to create Hot Wheels Magnus Walker Classic Porsche Collection and we are already drooling all over them.
Among one of the most famous Porsche builders and tuners of the world, Magnus Walker has created a space for himself as the self-proclaimed Urban Outlaw who over the years has become something of an underground legend for anti-establishment tuning of vintage Porsche products. So it seems fitting that Hot Wheels, would look towards him if they ever needed to customise its new collection of classic Porsches scale models, and this is exactly what they have done. Hot Wheels didn’t just create tiny little awesome copies of Walker’s own collection of vintage Porsche’s, instead… they enlisted Walker to help them in designing custom paint jobs and graphics for the new classic Porsche line that starts off with the brilliant Porsche 911 GT3 RS in red, white and blue.
Then there is that silver-blue paint job, red bumpers, and gold rims on a spoiler-less Porsche 964 which is all sorts of lovely and tempting while the miniature 1978 Porsche 935 looks ready for a day at the track and recreate the golden times. As for availability of these tiny little beauties from Hot Wheels Magnus Walker Classic Porsche collection, the white GT3 will be at the stores starting this June at a price of just $4, however, as much as we can try, it would be pretty darn tough to wait until November for the 964 and the 935 to arrive on sale. Saying that, even though all this is still some long far months away, we cherish the fact that , if not the real deals, we at least will be able to have a Porsche collection of our known, albeit in the form of tiny little 1:64 scale models.
However, there is a great news for the happy kid inside you as the first of the Hot Wheels Magnus Walker Classic Porsche collection, a pair of silver or black 1956 Porsche 356As are about to go on sale and this means that it would be wise to get in touch with your favourite toy shop to get your hands on them as fast as possible.
