The uber- luxurious hotel of Punta Tragara Capri dates back from the 1920s when engineer Vismara built a private villa after heeding a suggestion given by French architech Le Corbusier. This 5-star property was also used as the headquarters in Italy for the American Command, hosting some of the most important people of the time like General Eisenhower and Sir Winston Churchill. In 1968, Count Manfredi put his coin for the villa with plans to turn it into the Luxury Hotel Punta Tragara that we have in the photos below.
