The Mercedes-Benz 280 E that won the 1977 London - Sydney Marathon.

The 1977 London to Sydney marathon was the toughest and longest rally the world had ever seen (Paris-Dakar came after this). With a total distance of 30,000km, drivers would start from London’s Covent Garden to the Sydney Opera House.

It began with 12 days on the road through 11 countries from London to Madras (now Chennai) before shipping the cars to Malaysia for the drive down to Singapore, before loading then up again to take them to Perth for the massive final leg around Australia.
