No Limits is a story of extreme will power and sprit that is associated with the world of sporting. Alex Zanardi, a Formula 1 driver, two-time Indy Car series winner, an athlete, an innovator and a gold-medalist at the Paralympics lost both his legs in an almost-fatal crash while racing at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz in 2001. But eve after the terrible loss, Alex Zanardi returns to racing within 2-years after the horrendous accident. Not just that, but he returns full of spirit, ready to compete in a new, more enduring challenge of racing – 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
No Limits is a film on Alex Zanardi‘s journey as he dares to partake this new adventure. From the cockpit of the BMW GT race car that he shares with teammates, ex Formula 1 driver Timo Glock and touring car champion Bruno Spengler, the aim is to hold no limits and keep no reservations to keep them from their best performance. Never before this had a handicapped driver competed in a 24-hour race alongside able-bodied drivers, but Zanardi’s spirit is a different one.
The film takes the viewers on a complete journey from the minute the trio stepped foot at BMW’s Munich headquarters and through the gruelling 24-hours marathon race at the world-famous track in Belgium as he shares the racing seat with his fellow teammates.
