Alfa Romeo 4C Centurion 1 Plus By Pogea Racing
The purpose of the Alfa Romeo 4C is not to be the most powerful outright scare-monster, instead it is the one of being the timid little beast that doesn’t let go. And in that, it meets near perfection with its styling while being almost Italian with its handling and driving experience. This little lightweight two-door sports coupe weighing just 895 kg while still pushing out 240 horsepower has a lot going for itself, which now has an additional Spyder model that looks even tastier.
But now thanks to German car tuner Pogea Racing there is an even more sportier version that blows the level of purebred beauty away from the original while adding some more muscle. This new model is dubbed the 4C Centurion 1 Plus and is a very-limited (10 pieces only) conversion that builds on the company’s original 4C Centurion. The total power output of this limited-edition in white Centurion, like its original is at 345 horses and 336 torques from the 1.75 litre 4-cylinder turbo’d engine. With these stats, the Centurion 1 Plus can accelerate from standing to 60 mph (97 kmph) in a short 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 189 mph ( 304 kmph). To help with quicker acceleration, Pogea has also tweaked the car gearbox so that it now changes gears 55% faster than the stock.
To make sure that the car is as stable as it could be on the road, Pogea has also upgraded and lowered the suspensions of the 4C Centurion 1 Plus and given it lighter forged XCUT wheels. At the back, the new rear wing produces 35 kg of downforce and the new bodykit made entirely out of carbon fibre keeps the weight down further.
