As the 2015 Dakar Rally nears, the teams are busy doing the final tweaking to their machines, warming them up for the gruelling competition. Red Bull KTM, winners of the 2014 Dakar with Marc Coma unveiled their official livery for the 2015 season. The same livery would also be used by Dakar runner-up Jordi Viladoms along with Ruben Faria and Sam Sunderland.
The team has been undergoing their final testing and have been making adjustments to the bike as the 2015 Dakar Rally begins on January 4th. Marc Coma has enjoyed a superb 2014 with a victory in the Cross-Country Rallies World Championship. And with four Previous Dakar wins under his belt, he is hoping for nothing short to continue KTM’s 13 consecutive Dakar wins for another year. His team mate Viladoms had almost no preparation in the previous season, yet scored a runner-up sport is also looking good for the 2015 preparation.
On the other side, Ruben Faria is having difficult times with his recent shoulder injuries slowing down progress in the recent weeks, expecting to be back in full form before the beginning of the rally. His team mate Sunderland has been in strong preperation throughout, although dispite some minor injuries, he too, is looking to have a very positive result for the 2015 Dakar.
