There has been a recent addition to the supercars of the world with the arrival of the Rezvani Beast, a lightweight two-seater supercar. Built in California, the Rezvani Beast has almost entire of it’s body made in carbon fibre, making it very light and very fast. Underneath, the car is based on the lightweight British Ariel Atom with a strengthened and stiffened-up chassis that is constructed out of carbon steel.
The body on top hides the lightweight British Ariel Atom in style while being entirely carbon fibre and increases downforce and lowers drag. The headlights, taillights and mirrors are made from 3D printing.
While the engine is from the Ariel Atom too, it gets more boost and power. Firstly the 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder engine gets turbocharging ,and if that isn’t enough, gets a crank-driven Rotrex supercharger. The combination produces power in excess of 500 bhp that is transferred to the rear wheels via a six-speed transmission. Given the beans, the Beast is capable of pushing past 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, which is near-hypercar performance figures.
The Rezvani Beast is all about performance, adrenaline rush and making a statement. The later is pretty strong with the cars gorgeous body design and open top appeal.
