The convoy reached the highest point at Lake Bâlea during the drive before it drove down to reach the stunning Vidraru dam location. The dam is located close to the ruins of the castle of Vlad III of Wallachia, the same place that served as an inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Count Dracula character.
