No one comes close to the scale or the incredible attention to detail that California-based Singer Vehicle Design puts into their re-imagined Porsche 911s. Their cars, while not the cheapest, are built meticulously keeping every minute detail in check, while also improving on their original specification, making them faster, suave-ier, and most importantly much more fun to drive. They have set a formula that’s now being replicated my many who have started to re-imagine a classic air-cooled Porsche. So when someone who’s entire product is based on providing exemplary build quality and attention to detail jumps ship to make a watch, you can imagine that the results are guaranteed to be mind-blowing and out of the ordinary.
The Singer Track 1 Chronography is combination of traditional watchmaking combined with design and styling taken cues from classic sports cars of the past. The case that gets a classic watch styling from the 70s is made from titanium to keep the watch on a diet. The brushed finish contrasts beautifully with the polished bezel while the leather strap with metal eyelets depicts motorsport genes. The Singer Track 1 Chronograph is also water resistant to 100 meters, while featuring their own proprietary movement called AgenGraphe. The movement powers the column-wheel chronograph and has a power reserve of 60 hours.
