The Ducati Multistrada 1200 is one of the most versatile motorcycles in Ducati’s lineup, thanks to its ergonomic architecture and user-friendly riding modes that make long distance touring a very comfortable affair. Showcased at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2014, the Ducati is also one fine looking machine.

Sporting one of the best preset riding modes that can be interchanged while riding, the modes Enduro, Urban, Sport and Touring take to different settings for the traction control and ABS while riding over varied situations.

At the heart of the Ducati Multistrada lies a 1198.4 cc L-Twin with liquid cooling that produces 150 bhp and 125 Nm of torque. And that power is transferred to the ground via a six-speed transmission.

This engine is contained within a tubular steel trellis frame. The front uses 50 mm fully adjustable upside down forks while the rear gets a monoshock unit attached to a single-sided swing arm.

The Ducati boasts of being four bikes in one with its advanced pre-set riding modes. With its 8-way Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and three way ABS system that makes the machine more ridable and the power more manageable under different surface conditions.

Whats even better is that the Thai motorcycle enthusiasts would also get the taste of the Grantourismo S and the 1200S Touring models that boasts the advanced Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) system that can intelligently adopts to the undulation of the road, maintaining chassis composure.
