The Modern Weld is a company based in Columbus, Ohio how have an undying love affair with motorcycles, interior design and restoration. And combining these three aspects of their passion, they have brought forth some of the coolest lamps that one can imagine for his man cave.
The Modern Weld‘s interior decor comes in the form of floor, table and desk lamps that are made out of rare motorcycle headlights that they have secured over the years. These headlights after being meticulously restored, have been fitted with LED lights, cloth covered cords and vintage photography tripod, making them truly one of a kind for one’s home office or retail space.
The desk lamps are made from vintage scooter headlights making them light and thus suitable for desk use. The table lamps are made from vintage Ural motorcycle and Japanese motorcycle headlights that are slightly heavier and feature wooden tripods. Lastly, the floor lamps use the headlights from original Ural sidecars headlights with their removable ignition key now turned into an on-off switch.
