It’s called Passione Unica Ferrari Rally and what makes it extreme is the rather unusual terrain over which the event is organised. Hosted by the Ferrari Club of Chile, this unique activity takes passionate Ferrari drivers over the vast expanses of La Patagonia. For 2018, 30 drivers along with their precious scarlet cars came together to drive more than 2,500km over southern Chile and Argentina in the fourth edition of the event. The rally was flagged off from Punta Arenas in Southern Chile, from where, drivers headed for Puerto Natales and Las Torres del Paine to cross into Argentina where they continued to drive across incredible vistas with stops taken at Santa Cruz and Perito Moreno glacier and more.
Passione Unica is a rally for a cause. Thought up by Roberto Busel, president of Ferrari Club Chile, this ultimate Patagonian adventure that ends with a charity activity in favoru of child rehabilitation. This is also the largest gathering of Ferrari enthusiasts in South America who come together from Chile, Argentina, Spain and Peru to challenge the limits of their cars from all across the world.
For 2019, the Passione Unica Ferrari Rally will head off to a new destination that would be a tour of the Iguazu Falls. This is part of a new route that will take pilots through Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Photos: Passione Unica Ferrari
