it roCkS!bikes have thumped the start of 2016 with their new Yamaha VMAX CS_07 Gasoline, their third build in Yamaha’s Yard Build Project. it roCkS!bikes claims to be addicted to bikes and café racer culture, have been building custom motorcycles since 2013. With the help of their exceptional technical team in specialised areas, they have beautifully incorporated their ‘monocoque’ trademark in this build.
The pillars of it roCkS!bikes, Alexandre Santos and Osvaldo Coutinho thought of hinting out the drag racing DNA of the Yamaha VMAX by connecting the handmade 4-2 headers to a custom free flow SC Project exhaust system with carbon silencers. While the massive slick Mickey Thompson drag strip tyre compliments well with the custom made 6.0 x 18 spoke wheel at the rear, the 3.5 x 18 spoke wheel comes with a 120/70 x 18 Dunlop rubber at the front. A Brembo brake and clutch master cylinder is fit for efficient braking and the stock tacho is housed in a custom aluminum casing. The standard fuel tank under the seat is replaced with a custom aluminum one with it roCkS!bikes motif on it. And the false fuel tank visible on top of the bike is handcrafted from sheet metal to add on to bike’s slim-and-sexy profile, while continuing the smooth flow of design that runs from the front to the rear.
